摘　　要： 改革开放20多年来，广东珠江三角珠地区经济有了很大发展，有的达到相当富裕水平。本文认为，要使广东富裕地区能按江泽民同志“增创新优势、更上一层楼”，使富裕地区经济有更大发展，就必须积极开展富裕地区成人教育工作，就可以提高富裕地区广大城乡居民思想文化素质，就能极大促进这一地区生产力的发展，人民群众生活就会好上加好，“三个代表”思想在这一地区的实践就可以得到充分体现。 The economy of the Pearl River delta in Guangdong province has been growing rapidly for 20years since the reform and open policy.Some parts are so developed as to reach the wealthy level.This essay highlights the necessity of expanding the adult education in these areas in accordance with Jiang Zemin's “create more superiority and make greater progress”,which will help boost the economy even further,to advance mental and cultural quality of the locals and to promote the development of production forces.The prospect of even more increased living standard will best embody “Three Representatives” theory in this part of the country.
