摘　　要： 本文在国外城乡边缘区研究成果的基础上 ,对中国城乡边缘区的研究进行系统地回顾。首先把中国城乡边缘区研究划分为三个阶段 ,即酝酿阶段、兴起阶段和快速发展阶段 ;其次对中国研究的具体内容进行总结和评述 ,主要包括边缘区地域界定、社会结构和问题、经济特征、城市规划和建设、环境保护以及可持续发展等内容 ; With the great development of urbanization, urban spatial enlarges ver y quickly. As the foreground of urbanization, Urban_rural fringe was taken into account by many researchers. Now, achieving Xiao_Kang social was pointed out as great aim by country. Urban_rural fringe should become the first district during the course. The search on urban_rural fringe began on 1980s, and become the hig h level in 1990s. There are three stages on the urban_rural fringe search in chi na. In the fist, this paper tended to explore the conception, feature and confir mation, in the recent years, the search tended to explore the model of economica l development, urban planning and building、environment protecting and continuou s development and so on. At last, it pointed out some new fields of research.
