摘　　要： 近年来,学术界对五四新文化运动的反思,波及对五四时期以红学论争为前导的古典文学研究的反思。文章通过重审五四时代的新、旧红学论争,勾勒出百年来红学发展所走过的从"肯定"到"否定"再到"否定之否定"的历史轨迹,说明对旧红学简单回归的谬误,并就当今红学如何突破的话题提出新见。 Over the recent years,the reflection on the New Cultural Revolution has strong impact on the research in the classical Chinese literature which has caused much controversy in the study of Red Chamber Dream in the period of 'May Fourth Movement.' By reviewing the debate between the old school and the new school of the study of Red Chamber Dream in the period of 'May Fourth Movement', this paper attempts to outline the development of the study of Red Chamber Dream in the past century——from 'positive'to 'negative'and then from 'negative' to 'negative'. In addition, it point out that it is a fault to return to the old school of the study of Red Chamber Dream. My ideas are suggested as to how to make a breakthrough in this field.
