摘　　要： 文章认为在文化这个广阔语境下研究的翻译 ,不再是对原文“机械刻板”的“仿作” ,其本身具有推动世界文学前进、转变文化的巨大力量 ,而翻译地位的提高就依赖于对翻译 (译文 )本身价值的肯定。文章对翻译地位的改变进行了思考 ,指出这种改变是将翻译置身于文化语境下研究的必然结果。 The paper points out that translation, from a cultural angle, is not a mechanical process of copy. Translation can have the great impact on a literary system and the power to change and innovate. Its status greatly relies on its recognized value. The paper also reflects on the efforts to raise the status of translation, putting emphasis on the trend of setting translation research in a cultural background.
