摘　　要： 黄遵宪青年时期既对日本废夏历改用阳历不满,又对新鲜的阳历表现出猎奇心理,中年之后则明确指出日本迷信西法、轻易废除夏历不对。支配黄遵宪改历的思想历程的是民族主义、国粹主义和实用主义思想。他的改历观的思想历程揭示了两历遭遇之初,近代中国知识分子情感与理智的二难矛盾。他的"余意改历似可不必"的主张,在近代中国社会文化环境里,亦有其历史的合理性。 Huang Zunxian's views on calender reform underwent a mental process of 'negation of negation'. When young, Huang expressed his resentment against Japanese repealing of the lunar calendar and showed his curiosity about the solar calendar. After his middle age,he clearly pointed out his dissatisfaction with the Japanese's blind belief in Western calendar and rashly repealing the lunar calendar. It was nationalism, quintessence of Chinese culture and pragmatistic thought that led him to the idea of calendar reform. His view of calendar reform exposes a dilema representing the Chinese intellectuals'sense and sensibilities at the beginning of combinging the solar calendar with the lunar calendar. His views of unnecessary calendar reform embodied their historical rationality in the modern Chinese context of society and culture.
