摘　　要： 在当今信息社会,网络技术和网络资源越来越多地被应用于外语教学,新的时代背景下外语教学出现了一些新的特征,处于外语教学改革前沿的交际语言教学法(CLT)提出4点新的交际法教学原则以适应时代的变化,网络应该怎样和交际法教学原则相结合才能适应教学的需要已经成为当代外语教学迫切需要解决的课题,信息时代的外语教师也应该重新构架自己的能力以迎接和适应网络时代外语教学的新挑战。 With rapid development of Information Technology, the application of internet has been greatly expanded to almost every aspect of English language teaching, which brought new challenges and opportunities to the present English language teaching. How to cope with these new phenomena and how to integrate internet to communicative language teaching have become the most urgent issues to English language teaching today. As the pioneer school of English language teaching, Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) has put forward new interpretations on CLT principles in the internet context and emphasized on the capabilities that a qualified English language teacher should possess to fulfill the more and more challenging tasks in modern English language teaching.
