摘　　要： 中国是一个农以为本的国家,民间祭祀着不少与农事相关的神灵,虫王便是其中之一。在我国民间,一般都只流传着虫王是""和"刘猛将军"的传说,但在山西省晋南和晋东南地区所供奉的虫王却是唐太宗李世民。这有多方面的原因:有"以旱蝗责躬"的神化传说,也有人们对他的纪念缅怀,还有这一带历史上是一个多蝗灾地区,所以人民祭祀他,以求丰年。 China is a agriculture country basically, the folk worshipped many God of connect with agriculture, one of is Insect God. In general, many district narrated the story of insect God, one is a bird of 'ZHOU', an other is a LIU General. But the people in south and south-east of Shanxi province, they worshiped insect God nor they are but a emperor LI Shi-min in Tang dynasty.
