摘 要: 本文报道一项实验,调查初中学生英语语音自我概念与其实际语音水平之间的关系。结果发现,两者之间有显著意义的相关;同时,语音自我概念与英语整体自我概念的相关较高,后者又与英语成绩的相关相对最高。鉴于语音自我概念源于对实际发音水平的判断,调查结果给我们一个启示:外语发音跟外语学习成绩相关只是表面现象,其深层处,是自我概念和与之相关的情感因素在发生作用,促进或阻碍外语学习。 This paper reports on an investigation into the relationship between English pronunciation self-concept and actual pronunciation, with subjects from a junior high school. It was found that a moderate but statistically significant correlation obtained. Further, English pronunciation self-concept correlated significantly with the global English self-concept and the latter exhibited a high correlation with the English achievement test scores. These results suggest that underlying learners' performance on pronunciation are affective factors such as self-concept that facilitate or impede foreign language learning.
