摘 要: 20 0 1年底 ,美国两大媒体先后宣布其电视频道将在中国的广东部分地区落地播出 ,而中国中央电视台的英语频道也将在美国播出。中美电视方面的合作是中美文化关系的一个新现象。在合作的同时相互间的竞争不可避免。在竞争中双方各有优劣 ,中国电视只有以资本营运为突破口 ,带动观念和体制的深层变革 。 By the end of 2001, two American mass media companies proclaimed that they would broadcast their programs in some areas of Guangdong. At the same time the programs of CCTV-4 and CCTV-9 would be broadcasted in America. This is the new phenomenon of Sino-America cultural relationship.Competition is unavoidable during the cooperation. In order to keep the largest watching market cake, China should learn to use the capital operation, and deepen the reform of the traditional system.
