摘　　要： 北宋时期 ,雄州由于其所处的特殊历史时期以及位于宋辽边界要冲的独特地理位置 ,迅速崛起 ,成为北宋的北边门户。本文试图分析雄州城出现的历史、地理条件 ,论述其在军事、外交。 Being a buffer between Northern Song and Liao, Xiongzhou rose rapidly and became an important gate in Northern Song Dynasty because of its unique geographical location and special historical circumstances. This article aims at analyzing the historical background and geographical environment of the rise of Xiongzhou city and its distinctive roles in military, diplomacy, economy and intelligence collection etc.
