摘　　要： 广州国际会议展览中心由中日建筑师及工程技术人员合作设计完成。建筑设计紧扣“珠江来风”的主题,突出地表现了“飘”的建筑个性,是一座建筑艺术与建筑技术高度融合的设计,具有鲜明的时代特征。它跌宕起伏、回转灵动的外观将一座40万m2的巨构处理得轻盈、飘逸,极具音乐美感,这正是建筑师使建筑成为艺术的令人激动的原因。 Under the collaboration between Chinese andJapanese architects, Engineers and technicians, theGuangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center wascompleted at the end of 2002. It took 3 years in all. Architec-tural design closely keeps to the theme Wind From The PearlRiver and noticeably expresses the architectural identity offloating. With distinctive features of the times, it is a workof perfect blend of architectural art and building techniques.The architectural appearance, free and undulated, nimble andflexible, makes a mega-building of 400,000 m2 lithe, gracefuland full of musical aesthetic feeling. Thats why people areexcited when an architect turns a building into a piece of workof art.
