摘　　要： 语义网是对网上信息语义及其之间各种联系的描述 ,可以提高计算机对各种信息的分析和处理能力 ,是下一代互联网的一个发展方向。文章首先介绍了语义网的基本概念及应用 ,然后描述了元数据的概念并重点介绍了RDF及其应用 。 The semantic web, a description of the semanteme of online information and various kinds of connections between them, is a developing direction of future Internet.We can use it to raise the analysis of various kinds of information and deal with ability of the computer.At the beginning of this article, we state some basic concepts of the semantic web and its application.After that, we describe the concept of metadata and introduce RDF and its application especially.In the end, we propose using XML and RDF to structure the semantic web synthetically.
