摘　　要： 本文探讨了约翰·巴思的小说《路的尽头》。笔者以文本细读为基础,结合当时的历史与其他批评家的研究成果,讨论了小说中的主体性问题。本文认为,巴思在小说中以艺术戏剧的形式讨论了理性与非理性问题,揭示了人是语言文化塑造的这样的事实,从而认为世上没有恒定不变的主体性。 The present paper is a study of John Barth's novel,The End of the Road.It is argued that John Barth,the author,in an interesting and theatrical way,presents the opposing philosophical stands,to explore the formation and disintegration of man's subjectivity,and it is concluded that man is the product of language,and since language is slippery,man's rationalism and subjectivity are subject to constant change.
