摘　　要： 中国现代民俗学运动始自1918年北京大学的歌谣征集运动,它是五四新文化运动的伴生物和组成部分,应该是不争的事实。在这场运动的初期,涌现出许多重要的人物,对中国现代民俗学的形成与发展,起了很大的促进作用。周作人与顾颉刚便是其中的代表。 Zhou Zouren and Gu Jiegang, both were important figures in 'New Literature Movement' in early 20th century, were very interested in folk culture of China by different scholarly background. Although one was a writer, the other was a historian, their similar pursuit repesented a nwe trend in Chinese scholarship. But for their different attitude and judgment towards common people, these two masters went in different way, which not only influenced their studies on folk culture, but on their experiences of life.
