Positioning theory, originating from advertising studies in the U. S. A,is utilized on the positioning of tourism resort image in this article. The images of theme parks in Shenzhen have been analysed. Four different positioning methods are also given and discussed. Finally, the paper proposes more in depth studies on the image positioning should lead to the construction of Tourism CI.
