摘 要: 21世纪外语教师的主要任务是培养学生跨文化交际能力,而不少外语教师本身跨文化交际能力薄弱,有不少"缺口",他们缺漏跨文化交际能力认识,缺乏跨文化交际能力的培训,缺少体验外国文化的机会,缺失跨文化交际知识结构,缺损跨文化交际教学新理念等。根据这些"缺口",外语教师要针对性地进行"补缺"和"补漏",提高跨文化交际能力和素养,更好地完成外语人才跨文化交际能力培养的任务。 In the 21st century,the goal of foreign language teaching is to cultivate students' intercultural communication( IC) competence. However,many teachers are still lacking in the capability of intercultural communication themselves,such as the weak awareness of IC competence,the lack of IC training and personal experience of foreign cultures,the insufficiency of IC related knowledge and concepts. Therefore,foreign language teachers should take measures to enhance their capability of IC so as to successfully fulfill the task of cultivating students' intercultural communication competence.
