Abstract The article analyses the law of correlative effects between the continuous development of regional tourism and the social, economic and environmental containing volume of tourist resources, explains the concept of the continuous development potentiality of regional tourism, and expounds the system and structure of the continuous development potentiality of regional tourism. In view of the law of periodic deterioration of the continuous development potentiality of regional tourism, it tries to set up an economic and mathematical model to measure the continuous development potentiality and finally explains in detail its practical values.
