摘　　要： 能力本位教育(Competence-Based Education)简称为CBE,是将学生的职业能力和素质作为最终培养目标,相较于传统教学方式更贴近实际需要,是目前职业教育改革的主要发展方向。实用英语教学的最终目的是培养和提高学生运用英语的综合能力,本文通过介绍目前高职高专院校的旅游管理和酒店管理等专业之实用英语教学的现状和社会需求,基于能力本位教育教学理论,围绕如何全面提高学生英语综合能力和实用英语教学水平,对实用英语教学的培养目标、教学方式以及考评指标进行了研究和探讨。 Competency-based education referred to CBE,the student’s occupation ability and quality as the ultimate goal,compared with the traditional teaching method is more close to the actual needs,is the direction of development of occupation education reform.The final purpose of English teaching is to cultivate and improve the students’ comprehensive ability to use English,this paper introduces the present situation and social demands of tourism management at present in higher vocational college and the hotel management professional practical English teaching,based on the theory of competency-based education,focus on how to improve students’ English comprehensive ability and practical English teaching level,to study and discuss the training target,teaching mode and evaluation index of practical English teaching.
