摘　　要： 1.0语用学——语言学的一个新领域 语用学(pragmatics),即语言实用学,是语言学的一个新领域,它研究特定情景中的特定话语,特别是研究在不同的语言交际环境中如何理解和运用语言。我们举一个例子:“今天是星期天”这句话离开了具体语境,只能表达“ This paper falls into four parts: 1) the definition of pragmatics; 2) the origin of pragmatics; 3)pragmatics and semantics; and 4) different approaches to pragmatic study. The author argues thatpragmatics deals with particular utterances in particular situations and is especially concerned with theways in which varied social contexts of language affect interpretation.
