摘　　要： 同符合体字是指由两个或两个以上相同部件构成的字，如“从”字等。从商代甲骨文到现行汉字，这类字一直存在着。本文着重讨论了同符合体字的形音义关系，分析了它们繁简无别，同符异构，同源及其他各种意义条例．同符合体字了形音义关字，具有见形知义的优点，也有表音不明确的缺点，笔者以大量的事实证明，同符合体字衰落的趋势，具体而微地反映了会意字逐渐为形声字所取代的历史进程。 Juxtaposition of the same sign can form a combined character, such as 人 (man)人put together to crete the character从(follow)There have been suchcombined characters from the inscriptions on tortoise chells or bones of the Shang Dynasty upto modem Chinese, The present article focused the discussion on the relations between formand speech sound and the meaning of such combined characters. It holds that there is no dif-fernce between complex and simple signs in terms of character construction in this way, thatsome characters are formed with the same sign but in different structure, and that some char-acters are cognate, Other meaning rules are also discussed . Characters constructed in thisway mainly belong to the associative compounds, which have the advantage that the meaningcan be determined by the shape, however, their weakness in that the pronunciation is notsuggested by the shape. With a lot of examples, the author has proved that charters con-strutted by juxtaposition of the same sign are on the decline, and indicated that associativecompounds being replaced by pictiphonetic characters ins a historical courese.
