摘　　要： 本文认为,现代教育思想有两个基本要点,即社会价值与个人价值的统一和科学教育与人文教育的融合.就教育与杜会的关系而言,现代教育在与社会保持高度开放的同时,一定要坚持教育的独立性、批判性和选择性;就教育与人的关系而言,个人的需要、兴趣、价值、尊严、人的发展的特点和规律以及个人的合法权益等,都应得到充分尊重.在教育发展的基本走向上,现代教育思想坚持以科学精神为基础,以人文精神为价值方向的科学人文主义教育观. This paper presents two fundamental elements contained in modern educational thought: Education must integrate social values with individual values; and scientific education must be merged with humanist education. In terms of the relations between education and society,modern education must strive to ensure its independence and freedom of criticism and choice while maintaining highly open to society. In terms of the relations between education and human,modern education must recognize and stress the importance of the individual, including personal necessity, interests, values, dignity, and human growth's character and natural law. It must also fully respect each individual's lawful rights and personal interests. As to the basic trend of the development of education, modern educational thought should maintain the view of scientific humanism,which looks upon scientific spirits as its foundation and humanist spirits as its values.
