摘　　要： 通过对不同文化背景中的自我和社会行为的探讨发现，在不同文化中自我的选择依赖于文化变量的不同维度；文化的不同维度对自我和社会行为的影响是不同的，若文化是复杂、松散的，则个人主义选取个体自我的可能性较大，若是集体主义文化，则用交换理论可对个体自我作一很好的解释； Abstract An exploration of self and social behaviors in different types of cultural background,shows that self choice in different cultures is dependent on different dimensions of cultural variables;different cultural dimensions exert a different effect on self and social behaviors.If a culture is complicated and diverted,it is more possible for individualism to select individual self;but if it is a collective culture,the theory of exchange will readily afford the individual self an explanation.Therefore,the self which takes shape against different types of cultural background is the principal factor in determining what an individual's social behavior will be like.
