摘　　要： 南京市今年前5月对外贸易情况见下表.从对外贸易出口情况看,除了4月份与去年同期相比下降3.2%以外,其它各月都有增长.这与全国l—4月一直呈下降趋势的出口情况相比要好.但是,5月份全国外贸出口首次出现增长,达155.3亿美元,与去年同期相比增长4.2%,而南京这一水平只是3.6%.落后于全国水平0.6个百分点.从对外贸易进口情况看,今年前5月。 There are two questions to be settled in developing foreign trade of Nanjing: How to increase export and how to attract more foreign investment. This paper argues that the way of payment is one of the essential factors for enlarging the sales. Suitable payment method could be used in adoption of Foreign capital. Also the paper points out that most of our import and export corporations have been persisting in the letter of credit which is really out - of - date. It is badly need of changing the sense of tradition and applying new paying methods so as to promote competitive capacity of products in global market and make more use of foreign capital.
