摘　　要： 肯尼迪政府上台后开始调整美国的南亚政策。美国认为1962年的中印战争为遏制"共产党中国"提供了良好的契机。本文拟从美国中央情报局(以下简称中情局)文件和美国国务院外交档案来解读中情局对1962年中印战争的看法以及中印战争后至1965年美国政府的援印行动。 After the Sino-Indian War in 1962,the Kennedy's Administration began to adjust its South Asia policy.Partly based on CIA's analysis of the war,the U.S.decision-makers considered that the Sino-Indian War provided a good opportunity to ally with India to contain China.This essay tries to show how CIA analyzed the Sino-Indian War in 1962 and and why the American government increased its aid to India.
