摘　　要： 语境这一概念首次由Malinowske于1923年提出,随后,国内外学者对该领域研究展开了激烈的讨论。但迄今为止,研究领域还不够宽泛,很少有人将元话语理论与语境相结合进行系统研究。本文将致力于探讨短篇小说《坚硬的稀粥》中元话语对语言语境、情景语境和文化语境的构建,以期发现元话语在短篇小说语境构建中的功能,揭示元话语的性质及其本质,为生成和理解不同语境下的元话语奠定一定的基础。 The term of context was first put forward by Malinowske in 1923.Afterwards,scholars at home and abroad started a heated discussion in this field.But so far,the research area is not enough,few people had a systemic study which combined metadiscourse and contextualization.This paper will discuss the construction of context,based on the theory of Hyland’ metadicourse and the context theory of Hu Zhuanglin in short novel Hard Gruel,so as to uncover the functions and nature of metadiscourse,and hope that it will lay a good foundation for the generation and understanding of metadiscourse in different contexts.
