摘　　要： 日语"マエカラ"复句的用法可以从从句、主句的语法性质、语义和语用3个方面进行阐释。与"マエ /マエニ"复句相比较:(1)"マエカラ"复句的从句内否定式出现的比例较高,主句以テイル形式以及名词、形容词等状态性谓语为主;(2)在语义上,"マエカラ"指定的时间有主句时间和主句时间的开始时点之别;(3)在语用上,"マエカラ"主要用于强调主句事态先于从句事态的特殊环境中。 The Japanese complex sentences 'maekara' can be analyzed in terms of grammar, semantics and pragmatics of its main and subordinate clauses. Compared with 'mae/maeni',(1) 'maekara' features more negative forms in its subordinate clause, and its main clause more often takes the form of 'siteiru' or nominal or adjectival predicates; (2) as for tense, 'maekara' designates times that distinguish between duration and point as regards what is described by the main clause; (3) pragmatically, 'maekara' are mainly used to emphasize the situation where what is depicted in the main clause occurs prior to what is depicted in the subordinate.
