摘　　要： 本文就英国英语和美国英语在同义异词、同词异义、特有词、单词拼写四个方面的词汇差异现象进行了分析、归纳。 There are some differences on vocabulary between British English and American English: 1) different words with the same meaning; 2) the same word with different meanings; 3) typical American words; different spelling.The article tends to analyse these differences and the author hopes,at the same time, that the article may be beneficial to English vocabulary teaching and learning.
