摘　　要： 从理解“七一讲话”和“三个代表”入手 ,分析了高校学生思想政治工作中存在的现实问题 ,阐述了“三个代表”思想对高校思想政治工作的指导意义 ,探讨如何提高高教工作者的自身素质 ,提出了高校学生思想政治工作新途径。 Starting from the understanding of the'July First Address'and'the Three Represent's', this paper analyzes the problems of institutions of higher learning (IHLs) in students' ideological and political education, expounds the guidance of the Three Rrepresent's to the ideological and political education in the IHLs, discusses how to improve the qualities of the ideological staff, and put forwards some new trains of thought for the ideological and political education.
