摘 要: 语言学中的认知革命带来了语言研究方法的更新 ,人们一方面运用认知语言学的理论和方法探讨语言现象 ,另一方面又通过语言现象来揭示人类的认知能力。认知语言学研究语言与认知之间的关系 ,认为语义结构是人们在经验世界中形成的认知范畴的映射。本文运用认知语言学中的有关研究成果 ,试图从范畴的典型性、范畴的认知工具——隐喻、以及范畴化的象似动因来揭示语言现象中的认知。 Cognitive revolution in linguistics has brought about a renewal of linguistic research methodology. On the one hand, people probe into language phenomena with theories and methods of cognitive linguistics; on the other hand, language phenomena reveal the cognitive ability of human beings. Cognitive linguistics studies the relationship between language and cognition, which claims that semantic structures reflect the mental categories which people have formed from their experiences of growing up and acting in the world. This paper, based on the studies of cognitive linguistics, attempts to argue for cognition of human beings in language categorization through prototype theory, metaphor and iconicity.
