摘　　要： 文章阅读的模式主要有材料驱动模式、概念驱动模式、交互作用模式。这些阅读模式对英语阅读教学有如下启示 :应重视英语词汇教学、丰富学生的词汇知识 ;丰富学生的生活经验 ,扩充学生的背景知识 ;增加学生对情绪、情感的体验能力 ;鼓励学生“积极阅读”,大胆猜测 ;利用先行活动促进学生的阅读理解 ; Discourse reading models mainly include data driven model,concept driven model and interaction model.The implications of these reading models to English reading instruction are as follows:attaching importance to vocabulary teaching and enriching the students' knowledge of vocabulary;enriching the students' experience and their background knowledge;enhancing the students to give sympathetic consideration to emotions;encouraging the students to read actively and to guess the meaning of the reading materials;making use of advance reading activities to improve reading comprehension;teaching the students some effective reading techniques.
