摘　　要： 梁廷■对域外史志研究进行了具有开拓意义的实践与理论探索。在《海国四说》中,他提出了实用可行的域外资料收集路线图,并运用用乾嘉考据的办法对资料进行考证以求准确,在体例上则汇合中西史学之长,开创了"以中国人述外国事"之新体例。梁廷■的域外史地研究在中国近代史学史上具有重要的地位。 Liang Tingnan s research on extraterritorial history and geography was the breaking exploration on the theory and practice.In his book HAIGUO SISHUO,Liang Tingnan proposed a practical method to collect information,did textual research in order to get accurate information and integrated the advantages of Chinese and Western historical sicence in order to create a new model of foreign history writting by Chinese people.Liang Tingnan played an important role in the history of Chinese historical science.
